Best Pellet Guns for Hunting

Pellet guns shoot pellets made of a lead or composite material. They are more precise than their bb partners because of rifled barrels and the state of the pellet. Pellet firearms are ideal for plinkers, hunters, sportsmen, begginers, specialists and youthful shooters.

Here is a list of the Best Pellet Guns for Hunting

Although a pellet gun can be dangerous, so can a lot of things. The pellet gun user just needs to remember the precautions he or she must take when they take out their pellet gun. The most important thing is to remember pellet gun safety, and second, of course, is to have as much fun as possible.

There are several kinds of pellet guns to choose from, rifles, pistols, machine guns, and much more. They come in many styles of these separate categories--so it is good to know which kind of pellet gun will best suit your needs before you make a purchase for the first time. If you are an experienced shooter, you may want to look at the technological advancements that have been made on every type of pellet gun.

There is also pellet gun ammunition to consider. Of course, you will be buying a pellet gun and will, therefore, require pellets--but what kind of pellets. There are perhaps as many kinds of pellet gun ammunition as there are types of pellet guns. You want the ammunition you choose to be perfect for your goals. For what purpose will you need a pellet gun, how are the different pellets designed, and what is the difference?

Below is the list of the Best Pellet Guns for Hunting:

1. Black Ops Tactical Sniper Air Rifle Combo, Gas Piston

This airgun shoots well and is very powerful but the scope on mine is way too high. I had to use a shim made out of cardboard and it still was low. great gun and packs a punch. it's hard to zero the scope with the recoil and I'm not too fond of the scope its comes with but other than that it's a great hard hitting gun. This rifle does every bit of 1000 fps if not better. Scoop seems great for the rifle and will drop the small game in a heartbeat. Great for small pets to hunting with but you will want to buy a case with a strap. The rifle is heavy just to carry in the woods.

Pros:

  • Powerful cool looking and fun to use
  • Power, well built and big fun

Cons:

  • Heavy

2. Benjamin Marauder Synthetic Pump Combo

The Benjamine Marauder is still new with approximately 200, 22 pellets fired through it so far. It is so quiet that is almost spooky. At first, I thought there something wrong with it until I noticed how deeply the pellets penetrated the board to which the target was affixed. Shooting the rifle from a bench rest proved to sight it in to be easy. But it was not until I actually went after some posts that I sat there wide-eyed with the accuracy and knock down power. The only con is the weight of the rifle. It is heavy. Keep in mind that I am 70 years old and my younger wife didn't seem to mind the weight. The bottom line is like the 22 rimfires without the noise. The Benjamin pump is hard for me to operate. That last 500 lbs of pressure are just not something I am strong enough or weigh enough to do. Thankfully my Son stepped up and puts the finishing touch to charging the rifle.

Pros:

  • Quiet, powerful, accurate and lethal.

Cons:

  • The rifle is heavy for an old guy and the pump is hard for the old guy to use.

3. AirForce Condor SS

This is one awesome air gun. Once sighted in its spot on. It has plenty of power for small game hunting. I get about 25 shots at high power before I need to pump it back up with my Hill hand pump and it's not a big deal to get it back up to 3000 psi. If you do any indoor shooting with this little beast make sure you have at least three pieces of 3/4 inch wood to absorb the pellets. My first shot blew right through two pieces. It will put a hurting on a cinder block wall so use caution indoors. I'm very pleased with my purchase of a made in the U.S.A. quality product.

Pros:

  • You get many shots before needing to refill. Lifetime warranty and made in the U.S.A.

Cons:

  • It's only a single shot.

4. Sumatra 2500

Sumatra 2500 Air Rifle

Rating: 4.9 / 5.0

Excellent rifle, accurate, and the best choice for small game. It ensures high quality and we take pride in owning a Eugene. I have no words for how good it is and its accuracy. The Sumatra is the most power with the nicest features. Variable power settings, accurate, pretty artwork on the receiver, gold trigger, scope ridge on top, fast easy cycling, this thing has it all. The long barrel is kind of heavy so I have the carbine. It is the perfect size for carrying around in the field.

Pros:

  • Termination of materials, quality, accuracy, and power.

Cons:

  • It is a bit heavy for the field.

5. Benjamin Trail NP XL 725, .25 cal

This gun is well fitted and shoots well- but not the first shot when you take it outdoors from the indoors you need to fire several rounds just to get the scope to hit where you sighted it in =poi after that it seems to do fairly good but if given the choice between it and a pcp made by career-the original 707 in .25 cal sadly the career wins hands down-accuracy -range and no hold over like was mentioned.

Pros:

  • Smooth nitro piston

Cons:

  • None
