Why Fallkniven knife?

Fallkniven knives are made from strong premium steel; each individually drop forged and hardened to hold the keenest possible edge. Each model has a number and a name engraved on the blade, along with the year of its manufacture - a bonus for collectors, who find it easy to date Fallkniven knives when assigning values. The handles are made of all natural materials, usually, stag horn or bone, and every detail is made of the finest material available.

Features

Size

  • Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife has a blade small enough to fit in a back pocket, on a belt, in a backpack. Its size is important as there is no telling what the survival situation may be, and carrying a larger knife would slow down the survivor, cause injury or otherwise disadvantage him or her in the wild.

Quality and type of blade

  • Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife is a double edged knife as a survivor knife will lead to serious injury, especially when hiking or traveling across changing terrains and elevations. The weight is key, as well as the bulk. Minimal handles on the survivor knife will serve to make cleaning and using it in a survivor situation much safer, and more efficient.
  • A Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife normally has a smooth blade. It can be used to prepare foods and cut tree limbs. It can also have a hooked blade for slicing ropes and opening cans. The luxurious type has a matte finish to avoid glares.
  • A Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife is a tooling aid in outdoors, where the world is vast, and danger abounds. Use it wisely to protect you from wild animals or strangers meaning harm to your life. Hikers, hunters, and outdoors sports enthusiasts use their survival knife as the utility knife.
  • A Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife has a strong fixed blade to maximize its efficiency.
  • The typical Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife has a handle that is normally ergonomic to fingers for a better grip. The tip of the handle has a floating compass a supplementary emergency device. All other additional tools are kept inside the handle.
  • Several survival specialists recommend buying a durable, compact survival kit and hunting knife instead of rather than a multi-purpose one. Other survival specialists say that a survival knife with a well-stocked handle is easier to carry as compared to having a knife and emergency kit separately.

Many retailers offer a huge variety of Fallkniven A1 Survival Knives with different features, sizes, and shapes. The range of survival knives starts from folding multi-tools to huge blades with special steel.

The knife tang connects the blade to the handle. The two slabs of material are then connected to either side of the metal. Narrow Tang types reduce the blade size as it goes in the handle. The handle will then become attached to the narrower area of the knife. Narrow tang knives sometimes have a pommel connected to the handle.

Customer review

Fallkniven A1 Survival Knives are considered strange tools. Normally, they are seen to be light enough for light-duty use or even neck carry. They are seen too light for most belts because their handles are meaningless for extended use, and the blade stock is rather thin. This type of knife is mostly suited as back-up to larger blades.

A while ago, I got a Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife knife to use. The product came with black Micarta handle and Great Lakes leather sheath.

As with many other types of knives, I've used a custom made sheath for it that had a deep pouch to have it well protected when carrying it. I carried it on a regular basis for over three months, and I've used it regularly for different tasks.

It will be well suited for tasks fit for its size. I view it as a good companion for knives with larger blades. It was probably designed to be used for tasks where a knife with a larger blade can't be used in such a way that will fit right in your hand. I used it for all sorts of tasks and found it to be pretty awesome for most of them.

I have been asked how the Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife compares to other knives that are also popular. I cannot place a Fallkniven A1 Survival Knife to any other type of knife and the same category. It has a hidden partial tang, while the other one is full-exposed. The Ultra Light Bushcrater knife has a rather light feel, pretty much like most Mode types of knives. I think this has been accomplished by skeletonizing the handle.

During the many tests I've used for it, cutting leather has been the most often used tasks. The knife didn't have any issue with this task even after a few dozen usages.

In spring, I've used this knife for fishing. I found my fish clipped quite nicely, and it took almost no time to complete the job. Other tasks I've used were cutting rope or slicing paper, and I did not find any troubles completing these tasks. Overall, I think the Fallkniven would be a great choice for small tasks or as a companion for a much large knife.

Conclusion

Many times, the metal part is bare to economize between weight and bulk. A type of blade that one needs to concern themselves with is a smooth or serrated blade. Fallkniven blades are more efficient for cutting up synthetic materials, flesh, and self-defense. A smooth blade is the most versatile and is the recommended choice for survival situations. Fallkniven blade is efficient at cutting, chopping, and carving. Though it may not cut through synthetic fibers like a serrated knife, the smooth blade can still be efficient. Fallkniven knife is high.
